Importing photos from a Canon A540. I get the same error (the one about 10.0.1.198) whether the photos are coming from the camera itself, the SD card in a USB card reader, or the photos copied to the hard drive. I've moved them to my iMac, I just can't get them into iPhoto. Ridiculous!
